Movies I’ve Watched During the Pandemic, Ranked
I feel like talking about something non-coronavirus related on the blog today. So let’s talk movies. I’ve always enjoyed cozying up on the couch and watching a good movie or TV show (and after I’m done watching something, I always spend at least 30 minutes on Wikipedia or IMDB nerding out over trivia about it). During the current situation, I’ve been enjoying doing that even more and have been watching a lot more TV than I used to. Because of that, I started keeping a list of everything I’ve watched while I’ve been social distancing.
Embracing the Second Half of 2020
This month starts the second half of 2020. The first half of 2020 took me by surprise. In the first half of the year, I struggled with everything that had changed and I mourned for the year that was not to be. Now, going into the second half of the year, I’m focusing on embracing what is.
Social Distancing and Parks
I have to remember that there are many people being careful like we are. They’re just not at that park. Unfortunately, there’s a lot of people who are stubborn and inconsiderate out there and yikes, they are really showing their true colors right now. But if you take the time to think about things and pay attention, you’ll also see that there are tons of people who are following guidelines because they want to do whatever they can to help stop the spread of the virus and protect others.
Easy Quarantine Cinnamon Rolls
Why am I calling them “quarantine cinnamon rolls?” Because the ingredients are things I bet a lot of you have in your pantry right now. And also because technically everything I make right now can have the prefix of “quarantine” because it’s being made while I’m quarantining!
Feel-Good Shows to Watch During Lockdown, Part II
When I wrote my first post about feel-good shows to watch under quarantine, I had too many for one article. So, here’s part two of that list. And if you haven’t checked out part one yet, here it is. Without further ado, here’s the rest of my list of feel-good shows to watch under quarantine when you need a mental break.
Reminder: None of Us Know How to Live in a Pandemic
None of us know how to live during a pandemic. It’s true. Even those really old people you read about in articles who miraculously survived both the Spanish Flu of 1918 and COVID-19 don’t know how to live in a pandemic because they were just little babies during the Spanish Flu. This is a new experience for all of us.
5 Feel-Good Shows to Watch During Lockdown
I’m sure most of us have been watching more TV than usual due to the Coronavirus. I know I have. In light of that, I thought I’d put together some of my favorite feel-good shows to stream right now. Because we could all probably use a little extra feel-good content right now!
Need a Change of Scenery During COVID? Ambient Videos Might Help.
I’ve found that putting one of these videos on in the background while I work on other things improves my mood during this time of staying home. It might not be the same as “real life”, but I find that it helps when I’m wishing I could have a change of scenery.
